Zimbabwe skipper Sikandar won the toss and opted to bowl first against Shubman Gill’s India in the fifth of five match T20I series at the Harare Sports Club in Harare on Sunday.
In a week of contrasting fortunes, Sikandar Raza’s men went from a stunning 1-0 lead to a stifling series defeat. Last evening, India pulled off a massive 10-wicket win to assert their dominance and banish the memories of a 13-run defeat in last week’s opening game. The batters have found form while spinners Washington Sundar and Ravi Bishnoi have been at the top of their mark.
India have not been able to hand sufficient game time to the middle-order batters and the final T20I could call for some changes to the top-order who have dominated the last few matches. Meanwhile, the hosts will hope to salvage a win to instil faith in their progress towards the next T20 World Cup.
